Mission

Assistance Dogs of Hawaii is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that provides children and adults with disabilities professionally trained dogs that will increase their independence and enhance the quality of their lives. We are also committed to serving people in Hawaii with special needs through Community Outreach Programs and developing the potential that dogs have to assist people in need. Assistance Dogs and lifetime follow-up support are provided free of charge.

What We Do

Our tag line is "Unleashing Abilities" and our goal is to help people with special needs to reach their full potential. Assistance Dogs of Hawaii specializes in training highly skilled Service Dogs for children and adults with physical disabilities that limit their mobility. Lifetime follow up training is provided free of charge to ensure the continued success of each team. We also specialize in placing full time Hospital Facility Dogs for children's hospitals and Courthouse Dogs for children who are victims of crime.
