Mission

We rescue, care for, and find forever homes for unwanted, abandoned or mistreated Golden Retrievers. Educating Golden Retriever guardians and the public about the importance of spaying or neutering, positive training methods, diet and exercise, appropriate medical treatment and humane care are all part of our mission.

What We Do

With the help of over 700 volunteers throughout Illinois, As Good as Gold has guided over 1,700 Golden Retrievers to their forever homes.
