What We Do

Based on the historic grounds of Woodlawn Estate in Alexandria, Virginia, Arcadia works to address specific needs in the community, while collectively engaging consumers, farmers, schools, and institutions.

1. We demonstrates environmentally and economically sustainable growing practices.
2. We distribute fresh, affordable food to underserved communities
3. We Train military veterans for new careers in agriculture.
4. We provide hands-on opportunities for schoolchildren, and people of all ages, to connect with their food and where it comes from.
