What We Do

Our mission is to nurture healthy and positive futures for children from Cape Cod and southeastern MA affected by incarceration. We seek to break the cycle of family incarceration by empowering our Amazing Kids for success. Our immediate goal is to lighten the burden that children typically feel as a result of a family member's incarceration. Our long term goal is to provide opportunities that help our Amazing Kids avoid choices that could lead to incarceration.

We believe we can heal some of the trauma and hurt children with an incarcerated family member experience by building stable, care-filled relationships with adult mentors and engaging these young people in self-esteem building activities with peers that share the experience of a family member's incarceration. We believe participation in our pathway of programs- summer camp experiences and activities their families often cannot provide - will enable our kids make choices that ultimately help them avoid jail.
