AWOFINC is an initiative that is designed to meet the needs of families who do not have the resources to attain the supplemental services that are needed to enhance the possibility of success for their family. For over two decades AWOFINC has addressed the critical educational, financial, and social needs of the families in Chicagoland. The mission of AWOFINC is to significantly reduce illiteracy, unemployment, youth gang activity, drug and alcohol abuse, violence and homelessness by developing happy purposeful people committed to giving something back to the community.
What We Do
AWOFINC programs take a holistic approach by providing services either directly or by referral that benefit entire families. Such programs have included the Homework Center & Tutoring Program with access to computer labs for youth and seniors, local youth camps and retreats sites like (Youth Haven Ranch formerly located in Stockton, IL.) The goal of the organization is to provide a safe environment for children and adults to take advantage of the many resources and services available to them through AWOFINC and partnering organizations
