What did Sheyla have to offer?
Working on translation projects through Catchafire gives me the opportunity to volunteer and help others. I understand the importance of assisting Spanish speakers to receive information in a language that they can understand and take advantage of available resources. In my prior job I was able to support good communication with parents by translating brochures, flyers, and other documents. I just finished another translation for a children's theater company, so maybe this is my week to assist with translations related to artistic endeavors. I am happy to research any unfamiliar terminology. Several years' experience as a translator. College graduate with additional training as a translator by completing the seven UC San Diego Extension classes to obtain the Certificate of Translation.
Sheyla was great to work with--she asked great questions so that her translations were as accurate as possible and she truly seemed interested in all the writing and the projects. I love working with Sheyla!
