What did Malta House, Inc. need?

Jewel helped Malta House, Inc. * A social media plan to help it develop a presence in the digital sphere through social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, and others.

Why is this project important?

We seem to be a well kept secret. This has its strengths but it also weakens our position in the community. As a private non-profit we are viewed as an organization that does not have needs. We need to be recognized as a resource outside of our local community throughout the state of Connecticut. Our waitlist needs to expand, our volunteer pool and our donor pool needs to expand.

This project will save us $6,632, allowing us to purchase the required stoves and refridgerators for 6 of our residents accepted into low income housing.

About Malta House, Inc.

The mission of Malta House is to promote the dignity of God given life by providing a nurturing home environment, support services and independent living skills to expectant mothers of all faiths, and their babies. The fundamental principles of Malta House are derived from the moral teachings and traditions of the Roman Catholic Church. Based upon these precepts, we believe that all life is sacred, and each person from the moment of conception is a child of God.

Fun Fact

Our residence use to be a convent. Now it houses homeless unwed mothers. If these walls could talk, the book would be a best seller!
