We seem to be a well kept secret. This has its strengths but it also weakens our position in the community. As a private non-profit we are viewed as an organization that does not have needs. We need to be recognized as a resource outside of our local community throughout the state of Connecticut. Our waitlist needs to expand, our volunteer pool and our donor pool needs to expand.
This project will save us $6,632, allowing us to purchase the required stoves and refridgerators for 6 of our residents accepted into low income housing.
