The Town Kitchen is attempting to enter into a very competitive and exciting space. One competitor promises to deliver hot meals to your door in 10 minutes for $8. While we are interested in a profit to support our mission we aren't looking to compete at any cost. We are a mission driven business that believes that good jobs and good food build community. Your skills will help us develop a sustainable business model; fairly priced for consumers, food producers and youth. Ultimately, your skills will help us achieve our goal of long-term employment of 200 Oakland youth by 2020.
This project will save us $6,868, allowing us to hire 2 full time sous chefs to train and mentor 6 youth next month.
