What did Spark MicroGrants need?

Matthew helped Spark MicroGrants ensure their HR processes and systems are efficient and compliant, so that they can effectively hire and manage people.

Why is this project important?

At Spark our focus is always on our partner communities. However, we're currently spending too much time and energy on managing our HR systems. Your expertise and skills will allow us to build an efficient and comprehensive HR system which will enable us to devote more of our resources to serving some of the most vulnerable individuals and communities in the world.

This project will save us $6,746, allowing us to launch 1 community driven project that will change the lives of over 400 people.

What did they have to say?

Spark is incredibly lucky to have partnered with Matt. Not only is he a great guy who has been an absolute pleasure to work with but he is also very knowledgable about all things HR. He was able to listen to our needs and really drive the conversation to make our time together as productive as possible. As a result we were able to make quite a bit of progress on our HR systems during the short time we worked together. We have created a comprehensive HR policy as well as built out a strategic plan for how to effectively hire, onboard, develop, compensate and retain our employees. Could not have done any of this without Matt and the enthusiasm, expertise and commitment he brought to the table.
