We require a large-scale, multifaceted, highly-targeted press list to help us more effectively, and with greater volume and voice, reach those touched by the issue of addiction, especially parents and families as outlined in our organization’s current public relations plan. The press list should include key media influentials from the following genres:
•Mommy & parent bloggers
•Family & parent reporters/editors at large newspapers
•Family & parent reporters/editors/producers at broadcast TV and national news radio
•Health, family and parenting contacts at national health radio stations, national family radio stations, regional news radio stations, national & regional women’s magazines, national & regional parenting magazines, national senior publications,
•Online parenting outlets
•Social issues reporters
•Contacts that write or report on substance abuse issues or any of the above at all types of outlets, including wires and syndicates

This is a targeted list of key reporters and publications that are relevant to an organization and the types of news it wishes to publicize. A press list helps an organization reach media outlets likely to feature news about its work.
