Pro Bono Time
Details
The Sturge-Weber Foundation is celebrating our 25th anniversary this year. As we work with a rare disease, we have dedicated volunteers and want to prepare for the future to keep volunteer burn out down, engage new volunteers, and build a broadly funded sustainable vision for the future.
Our goals for this project include:
- Reviewing our previous Strategic Plan's success and identify what to include in new plan
- Using feedback from key stakeholders to draft strategic plan for post 25th anniversary year
- Making goals and action items meaningful, trackable and forward thinking
With few hands on deck in the office, we look forward to working with a compassionate and focused professional. The professional will guide us in developing this plan that will enable us to improve the quality of life and care for children and adults living with birthmarks, seizures and glaucoma.

Imagine walking around with a port wine birthmark covering your face, glaucoma and seizures. Knowing where to turn to for support, networking, referrals, as well as hope through participation in research, is just a phone call away...if you know who to trust.

Description
Call your Board of Directors and Key Staff together, lock the door and ask yourselves three questions: Who are we?, What do we do? How do we do it better than anybody else? That’s all there is to Strategic Planning, right? Sounds simple but it’s a complicated, nuanced process requiring patience and fortitude. You’re smart to bring in an expert to help you think it through.
